Our white wines

We are experts in white wine making

The Jerome Choblet estates are experts in French winemaking. We are best known for our production of Loire white wines that are fruity, light bodied and dry.

Our wines are a direct expression of the characteristics of the terroir and the region. The region is famous for its know-how in producing some of the best white wines in France and the world.

The grape varieties used for our white wines production are Melon B (AOP Muscadet, AOP Muscadet Cotes de Grandlieu), Chardonnay (IGP Val de Loire) and Chenin (AOP Saumur et IGP Val de Loire).

Typical aromas of Loire Valley white wines

The primary aromas of our white wines are lime, green apple, peach and pear. Our wines are usually easy to drink, balanced and a lot of freshness that embodies the grape variety of the wine.

Our Chardonnay whites have notes of exotic fruit aromas and citrus with a fresh expression of the Atlantic Ocean with a great saltiness.

The Chenin wines have an expression of citrus, floral, caramel/vanilla and an element of crisp minerality.

Our largest range of white wines is Melon B. Here you will find the citrus minerality and oceanic qualities of the maritime vineyards of the Nantes region.

For those who prefer more structure and body, we also make white wines with longer aging on lees, giving the wine more complexity and body.

White wine and dining

Our white wines are perfect to serve with appetizers such as oysters or artichoke dip with tortilla chips. More structured wines can be paired with cheese. And of course, our white wines pair very well with seafood fish dishes such as sushi.

Our range of white wines are of course also suitable for vegans. Try them with a grilled vegetable brochette and a dash of sea salt to enhance the mineral and saline notes of the wine.
