Domaine les 5 Chemins<\/strong> in Port Saint P\u00e8re<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Michel HOUDEBINE, an associate of Jerome Choblet, bought the Domaine les 5 Chemins in 2018, which has since been managed by Jerome Choblet.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The estate is situated <\/strong>in the wine-growing commune of Port Saint P\u00e8re (Pays de la Loire region)<\/strong>, on a high slope that is windy and has excellent sun exposure.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The vines<\/strong> planted <\/strong>here have been thriving for more than nine decades<\/strong>, nourished by the schist and mica-schist soil<\/strong>, which imbues the wine with the region’s terroir’s richness and depth.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The estate exclusively produces white wine<\/a>, made from Melon de Bourgogne<\/a>, Chardonnay<\/a>, and Grolleau Gris<\/a> grape varieties.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The vineyards of Domaine les 5 Chemins<\/strong> are encompassed by a diverse ecosystem<\/strong> consisting of apple trees, bushes, and forests that fully utilize the advantages of the schist and mica-schist soil and its dominant exposure.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the top of the hill\u2019s summit, we can spot the Lake of Grandlieu<\/strong> to the east and the Loire <\/strong>to the north. The prevailing westerly winds carry with them fresh and iodized\/salty air,<\/strong> creating the illusion that the Ocean is within reach! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
